At the Palm Theatre . . . introduction to series and then the showing of “A Night at the Opera”, one of the Marx Brothers best zany comedies and following that a look at the life of W C Fields.
The series will look at one film for each decade since the 1930s to understand how comedy in film has evolved with direction, script, location and acting. Comedy is different for everyone and we’ll try to understand what makes us laugh.
