The Cinecon Classic Film Festival, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, is for the hard-core vintage-movie enthusiast who is willing to take a chance on films that haven’t been seen in some cases since they were first released.
“I suppose the biggest question I get from would-be attendees is that I haven’t heard of any of the films you are running. To which I say that’s the point,” said film historian and Cinecon President Robert Birchard. click here for the LA Times story
