1st film in the “Film in the 1950s” series will be Sunset Boulevard

On September 10 at 12:30pm at the Palm Theatre in San Luis Obispo, we’ll watch the Billy Wilder directed classic black comedy/drama, and perhaps the most acclaimed, but darkest film-noir story about “behind the scenes” Hollywood, self-deceit, spiritual and spatial emptiness, and the price of fame, greed, narcissism, and ambition.
