Busby Berkeley tribute in The Big Lebowsky

We watched Gold Diggers of 1933 during the Spring class and marveled at how Berkeley created incredible visuals with orchestrated – choreographed cinematography and dancing.  But last week I revisited The Big Lebowski and saw the “Gutterballs” movie within the movie with an homage to Berkley.

    What a kick of a movie–I thought it was Jeff Bridges–just a footnote–I would beat Bob at Bowling–he threw more gutterballs than I did. Talk when I get back from MI next week re: Carol Burnett–cheers and be happy..Linda
